The worlds ITU Duathlon took place this weekend in Adelaide, Australia, with two of our Jackpotters participating. Craig Boggon who has been spending time in the far corner of the world recently took up his qualification place and put in a storming race at the standard distance in his 20-24 age group. Craig was 10th male home and 1st Brit home in his age group – Craig’s first run was a whopping 36:46 on the 10k distance! Next up, a few years older was Dave Morley in the sprint, 44-49 age category where competition, as in Craig’s category, was tough. Dave was 23rd overall and flew around the course in an overall time of 1:08:05. Well done chaps – safe trips home 🙂
Still in sunny climes, Cat Jameson headed to Mallorca for the Challenge Paguera middle distance race. Cat held first position – first out of the swim in 25:48 and first off the bike in 2:34:27 – until mid way during the run section and finished 7th lady overall. A tremendous finish to an awesome season for Cat this year.
